Choosing your best loadout

You've just entered the game, and chosen a level. What is the best loadout to use?

When I play with newcomers, I'm usually asked a complex question. "What is the best gun to use?"

The question can be answered simply. By trying out the guns.

When you are on the loadout screen, you see four options: Primary, Secondary, Tool, Melee.

Primaries and Secondaries are the most important items in the game, mainly because they're guns. Each gun has pros and cons. Some shoot extremely fast, others shoot really slow.

Tools are one of the most important items in the game.

Cfoam Launchers shoot out something called Cfoam. It can seal up doors and freeze enemies. When you seal up a door, enemies take more time to break through it.

Mine Deployers are trip mines that can instantly kill a normal enemy. It can also take out more than one enemy, making it pretty useful.

The Biotracker can track live enemy movements. It can be useful for marking scouts for everyone to see, as well as alerted enemies.

Finally, the sentires (burst and shotgun). Burst sentries are good for mid-range and can easily stagger enemies. Shotgun sentries are better for short range and easily deal with enemies who are right by it.

Melee is cosmetic. They are all the same, except with different designs.
